Call For Papers

The FTTH Council MENA invites you to submit a paper for the 11th annual Conference which will be held in Nile Ritz Carlton Cairo, Egypt  from 20 to 22 October 2019.

Following the successful previous editions, the FTTH Council MENA will further increase this success with a high-quality conference program under the theme “Building The Digital Future”. The three-day event will highlight the key role of FTTH in building state-of-the-art digital societies as well as the benefits of FTTH deployment for operators, governments and consumers.

This call for speakers is open for all kind of submissions. Papers can be submitted by single persons, operators, engineering consultants, authorities, content developers, manufacturers, equipment vendors and all further stakeholders of the FTTH world. The review will be done by a neutral committee of analysts. It will be a blind review, meaning that the reviewer only sees the title and the abstract but not the author(s). Any statements in the abstract which could indicate the author who/company which submitted the abstract will be removed for the review.

Abstracts need to be submitted according to the program topics by indicating the topic selected as subject of the abstract.

The FTTH Council MENA prefers neutral presentations and case study/real life experience presentations. Manufacturers and vendors can therefore increase the value of their abstract if the presentation is done through a customer.

The FTTH Council MENA will do the final selection of the papers. There is no obligation from the FTTH Council MENA to inform submitters about the reasons of accepting or rejecting a paper.
